Rose grew up in the Southern part of the Philippines where her mother and grandmother exposed her to the healing arts--herbal teas, bentusas, massages, herbal tinctures, body treatments, soaps and other natural cures. She nurtured her innate healing gift studying medicine, and moved to Europe for four years. There, she voraciously consumed knowledge about the different healing practices in France, Italy, Germany, and Switzerland, fascinated with their unique scientific and native approaches to health and beauty. After four years she moved to the United States to pursue what would become her life's mission--skincare and healing through beauty.

After years of extensive study into all fields of aesthetics, medicine and cosmetics, Rose was invited by Marcia Kilgore to join her at Let's Face It, now the reknown Bliss Spa. The two worked together until Marcia opened Bliss, and Rose moved on to work with two top plastic surgeons at the NYU Medical Center, where she gained extensive experience in medical peels, microdermabrasion and epidermal planing. It was here she developed the conviction to help women everywhere achieve their own truest beauty; the kind of beauty that every woman is born with, not the kind that shows unflattering nips, tucks and pulls.

Taking from the wisdom of her homeland, her medical training, and her research/development background, Rose created her own highly-effective, signature aesthetic treatments and set up an anti-aging oasis at the Rose Alcido Spa in New York City. There, she created the tried-and-true Rose Alcido skincare line of highly concentrated serums, which her clients love and live by. With the national release of her product, Rose is excited to share not just a product but an answer that she developed with her heart, mind, and soul for women everywhere.
